EDM / Winter Convention 2026 Vilnius, Lithuania FAQ for Delegates & Guests

When and where does the EDM and convention take place?
EDM 2026 will be held on 5–8 February 2026 at the Best Western Hotel, Vilnius.
The Lithuanian Regional Winter Convention will take place 7–8 February at the same venue.

Do I need to register?
Yes registration is required for the Convention.

You will also be able to register on the door during the event.

Is accommodation provided?
A block of rooms has been reserved for delegates.
Guests can also book directly using the discount code 2602CONFER for a reduced rate.

How can I get to the venue?
The Best Western Hotel is located near Vilnius city centre, approximately 7 km from Vilnius Airport
By taxi: around €10–15, journey time 15–20 minutes.
By bus: take Bus No. 3G from Vilnius Airport to “Tuskulėnų st.” stop, with a travel time ofabout 25 minutes, then a short walk to the hotel.

Are meals included?
Breakfast is included for hotel guests.
Lunch and dinner are not included — however, the hotel is located in Vilnius city centre, surrounded by many cafés, restaurants, and excellent specialty coffee shops.
The Vilnius Old Town is only about a 15–20 minute walk from the Best Western Hotel and offers a wide variety of dining spots, coffee places, and plenty of shops.
A list of recommended nearby places will be shared before the event.

Parking for the event?
Parking is available at the hotel. It may be payable for guests depending on your hotel reservation — please check directly with reception or when reserving your room.

Local currency?
Lithuania uses the Euro (€) as its national currency. Most places accept contactless card payments (Visa, MasterCard, Revolut, etc.), and ATMs are widely available throughout Vilnius.

Language?
The country's official language is Lithuanian, but in Vilnius most people — especially the younger generation — speak good English, and visitors generally find it easy to communicate.
EDM will be held in English only, but the regional convention will be in Lithuanian with translation to English for main shares only.

What’s the daily schedule like?
The EDM agenda will be put together by the EDM Steering Committee and shared closer to the date.
Regional convention's daily program to be shared closer to the date. During the evenings (Wednesday to Friday) local NA members will be organising fellowship activities, including: speaker jam, city and sightseeing tours and sauna visit.

Visits to nearby attractions and social gatherings?
There are a number of regular NA meetings in Vilnius, held mainly in Lithuanian, with some in russian. During the event, we aim to provide translation options and several EDM delegates will be invited to share their experience, strength and hope. We are also planning a Speaker jam night on Wednesday to open the week in unity and connection. Full details follow soon. Expect a full, warm, and welcoming atmosphere throughout the event, opportunities to connect, share and explor e Vilnius together.

Is there a participation fee? Attendance at EDM sessions is free for delegates and guests. The Lithuanian Regional Convention will include the usual member fee, payable as preregistration at 25 euros or on the door at 30 euros.
Optional activities such as saunas, excursions or guided tours will be paid individually by participants. Only register if you are confident you will attend. If bookings are made and people withdraw later, the overall cost does not change, which may increase the price for the remaining participants.
